On Dec 23, '24, the US Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit lifted the injunction on enforcement of the Corporate Transparency Act (CTA), which had been issued by the US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas on 12/3/24. This means the CTA BOI is once again in effect.

The yield (APY) on envelope balances in QuickBooks Checking (QB)is changing to 3% effective 12/12/24. The APY is variable and changes at any time based on market conditions. Envelopes in QB let you set aside funds and earn interest. It may be the time to investigate alternatives.
